Anglian Windows Ltd permitted business is advising on and arranging mortgages and general insurance (Loans are not regulated by the FSA). The FSA is the independent watchdog that regulates financial services.

We only offer mortgages from a limited number of lenders. Ask us for a list of the lenders we select from. We normally provide an advice and recommendation service after assessing your needs. We normally charge 1% of the loan amount but have a minimum fee of £600. The fee is payable on completion. Depending on your personal circumstance, this could increase up to 2%. We will also be paid commission from the lender. You will receive a 'Key Facts Illustration' when considering a particular mortgage which will tell you about any fees relating to it.

We only offer products from a limited number of insurers for pure protection and general insurance contacts. Ask us for a list of the insurers we offer insurance from. We normally provide an advice and recommendation service after assessing your needs. For insurance there are no upfront fees payable.

No refund of fees is payable as the Anglian fee is not payable until completion (no completion = no fee). Up front fees paid to the lender may not be refundable.

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Mortgage advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £30,000 and 90% of the next £20,000 so the maximum compensation is £48,000. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without an upper limit. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements is available from the FSCS.
